SAYRA PLAYER is a member of The Actors Studio, co-founder of The Playground and founder of DMT Breathwork. Her long standing mentorship with Ellen Burstyn, Estelle Parsons, Greta Seacat and Elizabeth Kemp give her the focus and support to understand the powerful potential of female leaders in the arts. She was the Artistic Director of The Collective NY ‘18 and from ‘12-’19 ran development, curated weekly workshops and produced four theatrical productions, two short films and participated in workshopping Inside Amy Schumer, where she had a recurring role. As an actor she premiered at Sundance, SXSW and Rotterdam film festival. TV credits: L&O, Gringo Hunters, FBI, SVU & Blue Bloods. She has three published plays.  She has extensive downtown theatre credits and studied in Italy and Poland with the Workcenter for Jerzy Grotowski. She produced and starred in Hurricane Party at the Cherry Lane directed by Maria Dizzia.   The short film Uncle Silas which she directed, starred in and wrote,  won the jury prize at Albuquerque Music & Film. She completed healer training with David Elliot & Space Holder training with Frequency Breathwork. @sayraplayer
